Veteran Malaysian journalist Felix Abisheganaden who died yesterday following a long illness at the age of 85 will always be remembered as a man who loved life to the fullest.
Felix, a former news editor of the New Straits Times, was also the father of Gerard Abisheganaden who is the second lead singer of evergreen pop band The Alleycats.
Gerard is the replacement of Loganathan Arumugam who died of cancer last year. The band which is regarded as Malaysia’s answer to the Bee Gees, Stylistics and Earth, Wind And Fire, is led by Loganathan’s elder brother David Arumugam.
Felix was also the uncle of Singaporean jazz and R&B queen Jacintha Abisheganaden.
